The Jalapão Rally-Raid will take place from June 19 to 24, starting and ending in Palmas, Tocantins state, passing through Mateiros and São Félix in Tocantins.

The 9th Jalapão Rally, valid for the Brazilian Cross Country Rally Championship, will have five days of competition, but the biggest news this year will be the route. The route will cover approximately 1,280 kilometers (1,280 miles), most of it on sand, between timed sections and displacements, passing through two Brazilian states, Tocantins and Maranho, between June 19th and 24th.

For the fifth time, the race will leave Palmas, in Tocantins, and will be the finish point after doing a loop that includes the cities of Mateiros and So Félix in Tocantins. The support park with the teams' box area will be set up at the Palmas Convention Center, located at Parque do Povo, rea Verde 406 Sul, NS 10 Avenue, s/n: Plano Diretor Sul, in Palmas (TO), and on June 18, the gates will be open to the teams.

The official activities begin on Monday, June 19, with the race office, equipment delivery (Stella), and shakedown of the vehicles. On Tuesday, June 20, the inspections will start, as well as the parallel attractions for the public present, such as the prologue at 1 pm, the car exhibition starting at 5 pm, and the promotional start for the categories Motorcycles, Quadricycles, UTVs, and Cars at 8 pm at Capim Dourado Shopping.

On Wednesday, the competitors leave for the first race and will stay overnight in Mateiros (TO). On Thursday, the 22nd, they will go on to the second race, and the caravan will arrive in So Félix do Tocantins (TO). On Friday, February 23, the competition will hold the third stage, again in So Félix. On Saturday, the 24th, the final race will take place, returning to the capital of Tocantins. The award ceremony will be at the Capim Dourado Shopping Mall starting at 6 p.m. at the Terraço do Capim, with live music.

In the 2023 edition, the 104 vehicles enrolled so far and 161 pilots and navigators will face a tough race with lots of sand, rocks, trails, farm roads, and medium- and high-speed sections in the middle of an exuberant and unique landscape. "The event should repeat the success of the previous eight editions because we have consolidated once and for all as one of the most traditional and one of the biggest rally championships in the country. We are preparing a rally with the same rigor of quality", declares Henrique Arena, the event's organizer.

The Jalapão Rally is a realization of Arena Promoções and Events, sponsored by C6 Bank and supported by the Tocantins Government, Palmas City Hall, Mateiros City Hall, So Félix do Tocantins City Hall, Capim Dourado Shopping, Divino Fogo, and Anube Sport. The supervision is from the CBM (Brazilian Confederation of Motorcycling) and the CBA (Brazilian Confederation of Automobilism).
