With less than 10 days to go before Brazil’s biggest rally raid event, Mitsubishi Spinelli Racing has revealed the bold new livery of its Triton Ultimate Racing prototype, which will compete in the FIA T1+ category at the 2025 Sertões Rally. Built entirely in Brazil, the car debuted in the 2024 edition and now sports fresh blue and orange accents, while maintaining its signature carbon fiber bodywork.
The revamped design celebrates the return of key partners and the arrival of major new sponsors, including Petrobras Podium and ArcelorMittal.
“Having Petrobras Podium as our title sponsor is a milestone. They’ve believed in our 100% Brazilian-made prototype, and we’re excited about what we can achieve together in this and future events,” said Fernando Julianelli, VP of Branding & Innovation at Mitsubishi Motors Brazil.
Beyond the branding, Petrobras Podium fuel will power the Triton throughout the race. Other returning and new sponsors include BTG Pactual Wealth Management, W. Truffi Blindados, FF Seguros, Loctite, OMP, and technical support from Dacar Motorsport.

Designed and built by Spinelli Racing at Fazenda Velocitta, the prototype was developed by a 30-person team after the 2023 Sertões. It combines the deep rally experience of Guiga Spinelli with state-of-the-art engineering. The car already showed strong performance in 2024, earning several top 5 finishes.
The 33rd edition kicks off July 26 in Goiânia (GO) and runs through August 3, covering eight stages across states like Minas Gerais, Bahia, Pernambuco, and Alagoas, ending at Praia do Francês. The grueling 2,215 km course will be supported by over 60 Mitsubishi vehicles, including L200 Triton Sport pickups and Eclipse Cross SUVs.
