Motorcycle Grid Sold Out 10 Months Ahead of the 2026 Sertões Petrobras Start
The countdown to the Sertões Petrobras 2026 has begun — and enthusiasm is already at full throttle. With the start scheduled for August 22, one of the event’s most popular categories has already reached full capacity. As tradition dictates, demand to compete in the 34th edition of the largest rally in the Americas has been intense since registrations opened. The motorcycle grid is officially sold out, promising another year of fierce competition for the overall and class titles.
The Sertões, recognized as one of the five longest and toughest rally-raids in the world, crosses thousands of kilometers through Brazil’s diverse and breathtaking landscapes — from dry savannas and dusty plateaus to dunes, rivers, and tropical forests. Each edition unveils a new route, blending adventure, endurance, and the true spirit of rally-raid racing.
The 2026 edition will once again bring together cars, UTVs, motorcycles, and quads, welcoming both professional and amateur competitors from Brazil and abroad. For car and UTV teams, entries are still available through https://inscricoes.sertoes.com/
until December 31, with promotional prices and early-bird conditions valid during this first registration phase.
Sertões Rally, one of the world's largest off-road events, was part of the FIA- and FIM-sanctioned World Rally-Raid Championship (W2RC) calendar in recent years, the Sertões continues to showcase not only extreme racing but also innovation, sustainability, and social outreach, taking medical and educational initiatives to remote communities along the route.
Ten months ahead of the green flag, the message is clear: the adventure spirit of the Sertões is alive and racing stronger than ever.
