Rally do Jalapão is valid for the Brazilian Championship

The race will run from June 17 to 22, starting and finishing in Palmas and passing through Lizarda and São Félix in Tocantins. The official opening of the event will be on Tuesday, June 18, at Capim Dourado Shopping, starting at 8 p.m.

The 10th anniversary edition of the Jalapão Rally will have five days of competitions, but the biggest novelty this year will be the route. The route will cover approximately 1,500 kilometers - of which approximately 800 kilometers will be timed sections - over four days of races, covering unprecedented sections and 90% on sand, from June 17 to 22.

The event attracts the country's leading teams in the car, motorcycle and UTV categories, who promise to go full throttle in search of points valid for the Brazilian Rally Raid Championship (CBM and CBA). The 70 drivers and navigators registered so far for the 2024 edition will face a tough race, with lots of gravel, trails, farm roads, sand and high-speed stretches.

Among the official activities are the parallel attractions for the public, such as the prologue, the promotional start with the official opening of the event and the presentation of the race's cast. There will also be an awards ceremony and a concert at Praia da Graciosa.

From June 16, the Convention Center, located in Parque do Povo - Área Verde 406 Sul, Av. NS 10, s/n - Plano Diretor Sul, in Palmas (TO), will open its doors for the teams to set up their boxes in the support park and all the official pre-start programming will take place there, including the race secretariat, inspections and shakedown - training so that the teams can finalize the preparation of their vehicles and competition equipment.

On Tuesday (18), Capim Dourado Shopping will host the Jalapão Rally. The 5.9-kilometer prologue on the circuit near the Palmas cemetery is scheduled for 1 p.m. and then the cars will go to the closed park located in the parking lot. The briefing for the four days of races starts at 6pm and the promotional start takes place at 8pm in the presence of the public, press and local authorities.

On Wednesday 19th, the first of four stages of the 2024 edition will start, heading for the city of São Félix/TO. From Thursday 20th to Saturday 22nd, the caravan will be camping in São Félix/TO, where the stages will be in a loop format. On Saturday, the fourth stage leaves São Félix for the final stage and arrival in Palmas/TO. The event closes with the prize-giving ceremony, which will award trophies to the top five competitors at Praia da Graciosa.

The Jalapão Rally is organized by Arena Promoções e Eventos, sponsored by C6 Bank, FF Motorsport and CCR Aeroportos, with support from Capim Dourado Shopping, the Government of Tocantins, Palmas City Hall, São Félix do Tocantins City Hall, Unicom, Adventure Campers, Resgate das Dunas, SiG Comunicação, PhotoAction, Imperial Filmes, DFotos, Fofo Esportes, Rally BR and Sanderson Pereira Vídeos.
