São Félix do Tocantins, Brazil – The sands of Jalapão were once again at the heart of the action this Friday, June 19, during the third stage of the 12th Rally Jalapão. With 188.76 timed kilometres, the route demanded technique, endurance and full concentration from the competitors, who faced fast sections mixed with dense sand and challenging navigation through the trails of the Tocantins cerrado.
In the motorcycle category, Bruno Crivilin, from Espírito Santo, was the fastest rider of the day and extended his advantage at the top of the overall standings. In the UTV category, victory went to Vinicius Castro and Breno Rezende, while among the cars, the win was claimed by Goiás duo Lélio Junior and Weberth Moreira.
All attention now turns to the fourth and final stage this Saturday, June 20, when competitors will face one more loop stage in São Félix do Tocantins before heading back to Palmas. A total of 189.49 timed kilometres will decide the champions of the 2026 edition.
Stage winner in the motorcycle category, Bruno Crivilin highlighted the demands of the route and the importance of staying focused until the finish. “It was a very good day. The sands of Jalapão always demand a lot from both riding and navigation. I managed to set a strong pace without making mistakes. Now we need to stay focused, because there is still an important stage ahead and nothing is decided,” said the rider.
In the UTVs, Vinicius Castro celebrated the result and underlined how balanced the fight has been. “It was a very technical special, with several places where it was easy to lose time. We managed to run a clean stage and that made the difference. Saturday will be decisive and we will start aiming to maintain this performance all the way to the finish,” said the Bahia driver.
Among the cars, Lélio Junior believes experience could be a key factor in the final stage. “It was a very tough day, but we managed the equipment well and completed a consistent special. Rally Jalapão is an event that does not allow you to relax at any moment. We go into the final stage focused on completing another strong job,” he said.
In the overall classification after three stages, Crivilin leads the motorcycles with a time of 7h48min16s21, followed by Gabriel Bruning and Luciano Drumond. In the UTVs, Rodrigo Varela and Matheus Mazzei remain in front, with Francesco Franciosi / Egon Parizzi and Pedro Mac Dowell / Daniel Spolidorio close behind. In the car category, Bia Figueiredo and Beco Andreotti continue to lead overall, ahead of Oscar Santos / Ezequiel Amendola and Lélio Junior / Weberth Moreira.
After the finish of the decisive stage in São Félix, the competitors will return to Palmas, where the official Rally Jalapão prize-giving ceremony will take place at 19:00 in the food court of Capim Dourado Shopping.
