Mitsubishi Spinelli Racing’s prototype is set to face over 1,000 kilometers of racing through Palmas, Ponte Alta do Tocantins, and Dianópolis from September 23 to 27.
Just a little over a month after the finish of the 2025 Rally dos Sertões, Triton Ultimate Racing is already gearing up for another adventure — this time at the Sertões Series Tocantins, taking place from September 23 to 27 in Brazil’s vibrant North region.
With the start in the state capital Palmas and the finish in Dianópolis, driver Guiga Spinelli and co-driver Youssef Haddad, representing the official Mitsubishi Spinelli Racing Team, will cover 1,088 kilometers in total, including 956 kilometers of timed special stages, passing through the historic town of Ponte Alta do Tocantins along the way.
“We’ll have another great opportunity to keep pushing the development of the Triton and chase strong results at the Rally of Tocantins. It’s going to be four demanding days in a region of Brazil that really tests the car — with scorching heat, sandy terrain, and endless special stages. It feels fantastic to get back behind the wheel for another rally so soon after Sertões,” said Guiga Spinelli.
The route includes a passage through the legendary Jalapão Desert, considered one of the most iconic and brutal stretches of Brazilian off-road racing. For Guiga and Youssef, this challenge is another crucial step in the evolution of a prototype developed 100% in Brazil, built to compete head-to-head in the top class of the world’s biggest cross-country rally raids.
The official Mitsubishi Spinelli Racing Team is backed in this edition of Sertões Series Tocantins by Petrobras Podium, ArcelorMittal, BTG Pactual Wealth Management, W. Truffi Blindados, and FF Seguros, with additional support from Dacar Motorsport, Loctite, and OMP.
