According to recent news published by the Belgian newspaper Le Soir, the French driver Sebastien Loeb could be close to signing an agreement with the Belgian Team Overdrive Racing lead by Jean-Marc Fortin.

Loeb was present at a test session of the most recent evolution of the OT3 buggy, the SSV developed by Overdrive to compete in desert races that in 2020 raced by the first time the Dakar Rally.

Apparently Sebastien Loeb likes the idea of returning to Rally Raid and to the Dakar Rally, especially at the wheel of a competitive car with that could in theory take into victory in the Dakar. The time he spent in Peugeot was surely very useful for the French to learn most of the skills needed to be successful in the world's hardest rally.   Still, Saudi Arabia is a completely different game from South America.

Overdrive Racing's boss doesn't hide that he would like to have Loeb behind the wheel of one of his cars.
