Panafrica Rally 2019: Only half of the riders made it through the 450km monster stage

After a short stage of 150km on day 3, the monster stage of 450km was about to make things turn over.

With the dunes of Merzouga and Ouzina, the long hard chotts and really tough navigation under extreme heat and dust, no more than half of the competitors managed to finish the stage.

3 timed sections provided a huge variety of terrain and some new tracks which have never been visited before. Even the leading professional teams faced the hardness of the rally with Sherco losing 2 bikes in the top 10, while other riders shined like the winner of the day Jacobo Cerutti from Italy, finishing after 6 hours and 15 minutes.

To keep an eye on, Tonelli and Shareina are new riders in desert Rallies, but with a proved record of their talent they started getting in the game, making amazing performances.

The SSV class is the territory of the experienced team of Farres - Monleon from Spain, who managed to reach the finish line faster than the majority of the bikes.

With the routes being really hard for quads, Frenchman Sebastian Souday dominates the division's competition.
