Rali TT dos Libongos: Maló Almeida wins again

After Rali TT da Conda cancellation,  Rali TT dos Libongos took the place left vacant for what was an interesting race.  The full support of the Bengo's Province Government was very important helping the organization to put in place this event.
The race had 150 km of dusty and hard tracks, starting with a short 10km prologue. With the participants already ordered by their speeds, the rest of the event continued with 4 stages, all of them raced on the same 35km loop.
The competition was not so open like in previous races,  due to a short entry list.  Never the less, the ones that entered this event made a good event with some friendly parties and barbecues taking place on the along the competition. 

Despite the low number of participants, two new racers made their debut in to the Angolan Rally Raid Championship on this race: Ettienne Grobblear from South Africa (Husqvarna FE570) and the local Ricardo Mira Godinho (KTM EXC300)

Ricardo Sequeira/Jorge Monteiro (Mitsubishi Pajero) finally saw their winning sequence arrive to an end, finishing second behind Maló Almeida/João Paulo (Isuzu D-Max). Paulo Freire/Armando Silva (Mitsubishi Pajero) finished third.

On the race reserved for SSV vehicles Hamilton Gonçalves won easily without any opposition Polaris RZR XP 900.   Hugo Carvalho won the Quad category, racing an Yamaha Raptor 800 and became the single participant to have won CARR events on all categories.

And finally on the motorbikes, João Catarino (KTM SXF 350) repeated a victory by winning this event. Mira Godinho (KTM EXC300) conquered a surprising second place on his championship debut and on the lowest place of the podium finished Rui Carvalho (Honda CRF450)
