Rallye du Maroc 2019: Nani Roma - "Who said it was gonna be easy?"

The Spanish Driver Nani Roma had mechanical problems on Rallye du Maroc's first stage

Nani Roma finished today's first stage of 2019 Morocco Rally not very pleased with his result, due to the problems with his new car, the Borgward BX7 DKR EVO. This race is considered the first and most important test of the new Borwgard before the 2020 Dakar Rally.  Roma said after the stage: "We didn't start the rally in a good way, but, who said this was gonna be easy.  We had several different problems with the engine. We spend half stage with problems in the car that forced us to stop. But this is part of the process of changing team, changing car, changing everything... it must be understood"

Despite the problems, the former Dakar champion prefers to look at the bright side of the difficulties he felt on the first day: "Today we had a long day, but now we know what is happening and by the end, everything was already working as it should be. Tomorrow it will be a new day and we hope to finish it better."
