The XXXVIII edition of the Baja España Aragón Trofeo AVATEL has shown part of its roadmap that will take place from July 22nd to 24th. The Baja España Aragón Trofeo AVATEL will run for the ninth consecutive year through the province of Teruel, making its way through the regions of Jiloca and Teruel and Albarracín, the latter with a passage through Gea de Albarracín. Subsequently, on Saturday and Sunday the bulk of the competition will take place with the participation of all categories (cars, trucks, quads, motorcycles, trial). On Saturday 23rd the stage will start at 6.00h for the cars and at 7.00h for the motorcycles with just over 400 timed kilometers divided into three special stages. On Sunday, the competition will resume from 7.00h with the last 159 timed kilometers that will have to face all categories taking part in this Baja España Aragón.

This Saturday will be officially announced the list of entries that will take part in a race that will have as main attraction the presence of the reigning champion, the Qatari Nasser Al-Attiyah, leading a list of more than 300 teams, a record number in the race.

The Baja España Aragón Trofeo AVATEL will be one more year the only Spanish event scoring for the FIA Cross Country Lowland World Cup and also for the FIM Lowland World Cup. Two main international competitions to which we have to add its scoring for the Spanish Off-Road Rally Championship.
Once again, towns such as Gea de Albarracín, Bañón, Alfambra, Camañas, Cuevas Labradas, Monreal del Campo, Villafranca del Campo, Blancas, Alba, Santa Eulalia and Teruel, among others, will witness the passage of more than 300 registered teams.

The edition of the Baja España Aragón will once again be sponsored by AVATEL, for whom "the competition in Teruel combines the indomitable spirit of the event, which is a challenge for everyone who competes in it, with the international aspect that allows us to reach further every day with participants from all over the world. After two years marked by the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic, the 2022 edition will try to recover absolute normality in both the organization and the development of the event in which more than 800 people collaborate.

The Trail category is the main novelty

One of the great novelties of this 38th edition of the Baja España Aragón Trofeo AVATEL is the presence of the Trail category in a clear commitment to strengthen the presence of this type of series bikes in top-level events.
Ivan Cervantes and Joan Pedrero, ambassadors of Triumph and Harley-Davidson respectively, will take part in this new category that brings together bikes with Trail and Maxi Trail specifications.
