Team Consilcar returned to the great stages of world TT last weekend at the iconic Baja España Aragón, an FIA Cross-Country Bajas World Cup event. An event marked by the hardness of the surfaces and where the heat amplified the natural difficulties that the Spanish event imposes to pilots and teams. The Baja was drawn along 3 Selective Sectors and a total of 562.3 kilometers that the team, made up by Edgar Condenso and Soraia Chambel, concluded in 23rd place overall and 10th place in the T1 grouping.

A weekend in which Team Consilcar started by taking 16th place in Selective Sector 1, consisting of 180.29 kilometers by the clock. A solid performance, in a baja which had the presence of the best structures and drivers of today. However, close to kilometer 100 of the 222.13 that made up Selective Sector 2, held on Saturday afternoon, the team registered problems in the Ford Ranger Proto's turbo pressure, to which they would add the fact that, shortly after, they would run out of brakes: "We were coming with a good rhythm and satisfied with the performance we were making, but these unforeseen events delayed us ingloriously" he emphasized. 
Edgar Condenso. In Selective Sector 3, the last of the race, the team would again have problems with the turbo, ending the race in 18th place, which allowed them to finish the Baja España Aragón in 23rd place.

An event that Edgar Condenso summarizes: "It was, for sure, one of the toughest editions of the race in which we participated. Despite this, and with no problems, we had a race within the rhythm we knew we could achieve, which makes us very satisfied", he stressed, adding: "I'd like to leave a special thanks to Soraia Chambel, for the fantastic work developed, as proved by the 1st place achieved in this FIA TT Bajas World Cup among female navigators."

Nuno Silva, who accompanied the team from the outside, underlines the importance of the event for Team Consilcar: "This is a very mediatic event, with wide international projection and where everyone wants to be.
