2022 Baja Aragon: The countdown for the Baja Aragon 2022 is underway

Less than 30 days are left for the start of the XXXVIII edition of the Baja España Aragón, an event that this year comes with new features, the main one, the entry of a new category that will join the cars, motorcycles, quads and trucks.

For the first time, Teruel will witness the presence of a Trail category that will have about thirty motorcycles in competition. In the absence of the closing of the registration period, brands such as Triumph and Harley, will be present in this edition of 2022 and will do so with top Spanish riders within their structures.

This new category includes Trail motorcycles between 600cc and 950cc as well as Maxi Trail models with displacements above 950cc. Ahead, they will have to face two stages (Friday and Saturday) plus a Super Special 6km long test that will open the competition on Friday, July 22nd. In total, the route will be 795 km long, of which 435 km will be timed.

Technical specifications

Trail type motorcycles that will be admitted in category 8 must be 4-stroke series motorcycles with a displacement between 600cc and 950cc. A standard exhaust system is also compulsory in both categories, modifications to the suspension and the size of the rims are allowed, the tires must be homologated according to the FIM Bajas regulations and the modification of the bike's chassis is not allowed, among other aspects.
