Baja Aragon 2021: Fernando Barreiros leads T2 in Baja Aragón

Driving his Isuzu D-Max and with Carlos Silva as co-pilot

Fernando Barreiros continues in excellent plan in the competitions he disputes in Spain. After a good performance in Baja Extremadura, driving a very competitive Isuzu D-Max T2, prepared and assisted by Prolama, the Portuguese driver leads, after the first stage, the classification of T2 Class in the famous Baja Espanha Aragón.

The Spanish stage of the World Cup, which also counts for the Spanish Championship, where Fernando Barreiros aims to become champion, is going well for the Portuguese duo that this time counts on the presence of the renowned Carlos Silva to ensure navigation.

"We had a very clean sector. The strategy that Carlos had defined and that we were checking throughout the race was perfect. We were able to finish this first day with a comfortable advantage for tomorrow. I know that only a third of the kilometers of this Baja Aragón are disputed, but the advantage we gained today will allow us to better manage tomorrow. The car is perfect. We are well and tomorrow we will surely have a day with a lot of heat, but I believe it will be easier to manage than to have to run after the damage, as it often happens", explained the Portuguese driver.

The 37th Baja Spain Aragón, which has the city of Teruel as its headquarters, is made up of 540 timed kilometers, 180 of which have already been completed. Tomorrow the remaining 360 kilometers will be run, divided into two selective sectors.
