Baja Aragon 2021: Fernando Barreiros wins T2 category

Driver took his Isuzu D-Max to a T2 victory in the world cup and in the Spanish championship

Fernando Barreiros, brilliantly navigated by the experienced and renowned Carlos Silva, won today at Baja Espanha Aragón, Spanish round of the World Cup which also counts for the Spanish Championship.
Driving a very competitive Isuzu D-Max T2, prepared and assisted by Prolama, the Portuguese driver continued the several successes that, always through Portuguese pilots and teams, this model has achieved in the Cross-Country World Cup.

Fernando Barreiros, whose sports project bets on winning the Spanish cross-country championship title in the T2 category, took an important step forward in this goal in Teruel, after having previously achieved an excellent performance in Baja Extremadura.

"I am very satisfied with this victory. It's a very important victory as it was achieved in a World Cup race and it was achieved in a very convincing way. With the advantage we had achieved in the first stage, the strategy was to manage the pace because the 540 kilometers of this race were extremely tough, particularly in the 200 kilometer section where the trucks had already passed, leaving extremely deep gullies. Carlos was extremely important in this victory that we achieved in the first race we've done together",
