Baja Aragon 2021: Nani Roma races his twentieth Baja España Aragón with the intention of winning

Alex Haro returns as co-driver as Nani says goodbye to the car with which he raced the last Dakar.

Six months after the Dakar, in which he finished fifth, Nani Roma returns to competition this weekend in the Baja Aragón. And he does so with the same enthusiasm as always, eager to put his foot down, to give it some gas, as they say in rallying jargon.

"Back in the car again before a new race. Another edition of the Baja. I think it's already twenty, and I'm looking forward to it. I will have Alex Haro by my side again, which is very interesting. We already know each other, but here we will start again this new stage of the two of us together", adds Nani.

The Catalan driver, who has already won five times in Aragon in cars, the last in 2015, and four times in bikes, recognizes that

"We take this race as a test, although we go out to win as always, as in all the races we do, but above all it is important to take the pulse of the race, to compete again, to feel the tension of the competition." 
"For the car we race here, the Huntyer T1, it will be its last race, because then we change model and regulations. The T1 Plus is about to come out, which will be bigger, wider, with different wheels," 
"The whole team has taken it as a new contact with the competition. My teammate Loeb also has a new co-driver, and we have a new partner, Orly Terranova, so it will be like putting the team's gears back in motion"

Nani assures that :

"We are going out with a lot of enthusiasm". "It's a race that I really like. Being in Aragón, in Teruel, is a pleasure, it's a race that I love and we'll see how it goes. We know it's a very difficult race, with very good participants, in which we will give the maximum to try to win. And if we don't manage it, it won't be because we haven't tried".
