Portugese teams finishes the race in 18th place in the T1 category

Team Consilcar participated this weekend in Baja España Aragón, an FIA Cross-Country Bajas World Cup event. A demanding day which Edgar Condenso and António Serrão concluded in 18th place in the T1 category.

On this second day, with 321.27 kilometers divided into two Selective Sectors, and with the team starting at the back, the task was extra demanding. However, the duo, behind the wheel of the Ford Ranger, presented itself in good shape. "We managed to set a good pace and recover some positions, which was our goal. It wasn't easy, because we had to do some overtaking, which the dust made difficult, and 50 kilometers from the end we had no brakes and the suspension was wearing out, but fortunately everything went well", said Edgar Condenso.

An edition that remains in the drivers's memory: 

"It was a pleasure to participate in this baja that enjoys natural features that offer a very diversified trace, from fast and slow zones, to dry rivers and even authentic trial parts. It's really very stimulating in terms of driving."

The presence in the queen race of the Spanish Rally-Raid championship thus constituted another important step in the team's path this season.

 "In competitive terms, it's always a fantastic feeling to be part of an event with this sporting dimension, which counts with some of the best structures worldwide, and also media, because it's a weekend that focuses all the attention, being part of the World Cup of the specialty", praised the pilot, who adds: "It remains a great learning experience, which naturally leaves us satisfied with the work done. I also thank António Serrão for all his commitment and dedication."
