Baja Aragon 2021: Yamaha will award a direct pass to the European Super Final to the best YXZ1000R classified in the Baja Aragon. 

The Aragon event will bring together eight Spanish participants in the YXZ1000R Cup and several teams from other countries on July 23 and 24.

Yamaha riders are in action this weekend at the mythical Baja Aragon. The second round of the Spanish Off-Road Rally Championship is the place chosen by Yamaha to award the best classified among all the participating countries, with a direct passport to the European Super Final to be held at the end of the year.  
Based in Teruel, the Baja Aragon is expected to be contested in extremely hot conditions which, combined with the tricky rocky and dusty terrain around the Los Monegros desert, will make this two-day event a challenge for the YXZ1000R Cup competitors.
The Aragon event will be the second opportunity for Yamaha riders to secure a place in this year's Super Final, after last May's Rally de Andalucía saw YXZ1000R rider Ghislain De Mévius guarantee his participation.
The eight entries in the YXZ1000R Cup of Spain will compete in the SSV category, while the participating Yamaha teams from different countries will compete in two other categories, depending on the type of vehicle they are competing with: T4 which counts for the FIA World Cup and the T3.1 class, focused on prototypes. All of them will have the opportunity to fight for the passport to the European Super Final.
The teams face in this edition an exciting journey of 500 km through the desert of the Baja Aragon, a competition that will start on Friday 23rd and finish on Saturday 24th in the outskirts of Teruel.
