Baja Portalegre 2019: More details about Portugal's biggest race revealed

ACP - Automovel Club de Portugal, Baja Portalegre's organizer already made the 2019 Rally Guide available for download that race's official website www.bajaportalegre500.com.

Baja Portalegre 2019 will once more be the final event of FIA Baja World Cup and all the Portuguese Championships, with the organizers expecting once more a large caravan of participants of Portugal's most important race.  

For 2019 the programme will be very similar to last year's edition, starting on thursday 24th with the usual technical and administrative checks. At the end of the day it will take place the ceremonial start on Portalegre's city center.  The race will start on friday 24 at sunrise with the traditional and famous prologue. On friday  afternoon the first it will be time to race the 99km SS2, that will take the participants from Ponte de Sor back to Portalegre.

Like in the previous editions, saturday will be the big day of the race. The cars will have two more stages to race, SS3 with 191,7km and SS4 with 211,7,  making a total racing distance of 413 km for this day only . Some details of the Motorbikes, Quads and SSV race are also now avaiable. The three categories will have a different program fro the cars, racing only one 350km long stage on saturday 25, that is a mix between the SS3 and SS4 from the cars race with stops along the way to refill and repair.
