Baja Terre di Gallura: The final round of the Italian Championship cancelled

The Rassinabyracing recently informed the Italian Federation and participants on the Italian Cross-Country Rally championship about the cancellation of Baja "Terre di Gallura".  Due to this decision, the 2009 season titles of the Italian Cross Country Championship will be assigned concerning the results effectively obtained in the disputed races and with the assigned coefficients.

Despite all the efforts to avoid this outcome, unfortunately, in the last few days, it has proved to be an inevitable choice even though the event's programming was underway as early as last July. But also despite showing appreciation for the work carried out most of the many pilots contacted made it known of the decision not to participate in the Italian championship. Thus, the willingness to be part of the Sardinian leg was found to be too small. For this reason, therefore, Rassinabyracing has had to take note and decide for the cancellation of the event that should have been held over the weekend from 15 to 17 November, in the well-known naturalistic setting of northern Sardinia, involving municipalities such as Berchidda, Alà dei Sardi, Monti and Loiri Porto San Paolo.

After the cancelation of other races,  Baja "Terre di Gallura" had become the last leg of the Italian Cross Country Championship 2019.  The race was expected to have a challenging 200 km long route,  featuring either technical or fast sections, with several different terrain types.
