Entries for the Baja TT Capital dos Vinhos do Portugal foresee a lively competition
The teams from the Portuguese Cross-Country Championship/AM 48 of the FPAK and the National Cross-Country Championship are already finishing the last details to start the 33rd edition of Baja TT Capital dos Vinhos de Portugal, which will start tomorrow and will cross the magnificent tracks of the Alentejo counties of Reguengos de Monsaraz, Redondo and Évora.
The race organized by the Sociedade Artística Reguenguense's Motor Sports Section will be the third round of the FPAK AM48 Cross-Country Portugal Championship and the presence of 45 teams is already confirmed counting with big names such as Tiago Reis, the first classified in the championship, Luís Recuenco, who follows in second place, André Amaral, who is in third position, João Ramos, Alejandro Martins among others.
The FMP National Cross-Country Championship is in its fourth round in the tracks of Reguengos de Monsaraz, in the Alentejo. The SSV category is the most attended with 67 participants. Once again the expectation is that the SSV race is very well disputed with Roberto Borrego, winner in Beja and Ferraria, getting closer to João Monteiro who is the current leader of the category. The 3rd place is occupied by Alexandre Pinto who leads among the juniors.
On the motorcycles, 63 pilots will start with the champion António Maio (Yamaha), who has won the three races already disputed, as the great candidate for victory. In the quad category there are 22 pilots enrolled.
