Baja TT Dehesa de Extremadura 2020: Spanish race will be part of FIM-Europe Baja championship

Originally scheduled to take place at 9 and 10 of June, the second edition of Baja TT Dehesa de Extremadura was postponed to 20, 21 and 22 of November.  The race HQ will be located in Badajoz, very close to the Portuguese border, and the race will take place in the tracks of Olivenza, just a few kilometers south of Badajoz.

The Spanish will this year be part of FIM-Europe Baja Championship receiving also the international participants.   Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, this year's edition of this particular championship will look like an Iberian competition, since the other two races in the calendar will also take place in the Peninsula, but in Portugal. From 11 to 13 of September will take place  Baja TT do Pinhal, in the hills and valleys of the center of Portugal, and from 17 to 18 of October, Baja TT Idanha-a-Nova,  also close to the border with Spain in an area close to Castelo Branco.

Baja TT Dehesa de Extremadura status keeps growing, as the race gains importance not only for the Spanish and Iberian sport.  The race already was several competitions, mostly for cars and SSV, including the local championship CERTT (Spanish cross-country rallies championship for cars), Iberian Cross-Country Rallies Cup, and the Big Alqueva Lake Trophy (both with races in Portugal and Spain).   Now, with the inclusion of the motorbikes, it will gain notoriety in other countries.

If the plans for the race keep unchanged, it will have more than timed 400 kilometers, split by 4 special stages with a distance near 100 km each.
