With Baja TT Vindimas do Alentejo entries deadline approaching fast, the organizers revealed that more than 100 teams already made their entry for the first ever edition of this race. The race got the attention of most of the Portuguese teams, and many will be present at the start, including the main contenders for the local championships.  

But not only the Portuguese teams got interested, also some foreign drivers will be in Alentejo, including the Spanish Luís Recuenco that will race the Mini All4 Racing once driven by Nasser Al-Attiyah.  In the SSV category the competition will also be quite hard, with dozens of fast drivers present, including 2018 Dakar Rally winner Reinaldo Varela, actually racing Rally dos Sertões 2019.

Initially presented as an "extra-championship" event, Baja TT Vindimas do Alentejo which is organized by CPKA-Clube de Promoção de Karting e Automobilismo has now the status of "championship event candidate", and if everything goes has planned by the organizers and the Federations, it will be part of the Portuguese championships both from FPAK and FMP in 2020.

Baja TT Vindimas do Alentejo will take place from 6 to 8 of September, with the HQ of the race located in Beja.  Friday 6 will be dedicated to the formalities of the race and the ceremonial start scheduled for the end the day.  The "real" competition starts on saturday morning with a 6,2 km prologue. In the afternoon all categories will have to race a 150km long stage. The race continues on Sunday with a another 150km stage for the cars and a shorter 83km stage for Motos, Quads and SSV.  The race will pass by the territories of Beja, Castro Verde, Mértola e Aljustrel on the south end of Alentejo Region near the neighbour Algarve.
