Baja TT Vindimas do Alentejo 2019: Nuno Matos in "testing mode"

Rally-Raid Network official partner Nuno Matos returns to the racing tracks on next weekend's Baja TT Vindimas do Alentejo, held on the southern end of the Portuguese Alentejo Region.  Matos as a clear focus for this challenge - held as an extra-championship event, that is use the available time and race track to do the most comprehensive tests possible not only to developing his car, but also to test a new tyre produced by Fedima that recently celebrated 50 years of existence.

"The Portuguese championship level is very high and with the canceling of Baja TT do Douro he were almost four months without any event. Because of that, our presence is a good chance to return to our racing suits but without the points pressure. We are focused in returning to racing rithym with our FIAT Fullback Proto that was completely restored in the last months. We will test new setting ou our car and new tyre compounds from Fedima, a brand that is with me for more than 12 years and is celebrating its 50th birthday. It will be a good test, but quite demanding, because we also need to make sure that we are fast enough and get to the end with the car in one piece, because in only 15 days we will have Baja TT Idanha-a-Nova and there things will become real" said Nuno Matos about is participation on Portugal's youngest race.

Baja TT Vindimas do Alentejo wil use tracks once used by the famous Baja Cidade de Beja/Montes Alentejanos, with the HQ located in Beja and organized by CPKA (Clube de Promoção de Karting e Automobilismo).  The race starts on saturday first with a short prologue of only 6,3km and followed by a 150km special stage.  The program finishes sunday after a second run of the 150km sector.
