CERTT 2020: SPANISH CHAMPIONSHIP READY TO START

Cuenca and Extremadura ready for the start of the 2020 CERTT ( Spanish Rally-Raid Championship ) with three races 

After not being able to start its journey a few months ago due to COVID-19, the Spanish Rally-Raid Championship will finally resume, after much effort by organizers, federation, city councils, and regional governments.

The race that will start this atypical season will be the Rallye TT Cuenca, which will be held on October 23 and 24 in the surroundings of Cuenca's city, marking the return of this event to the national calendar after several seasons of absence.

Just one month later, Baja TT Extremadura will be the second appointment of the season, a race that in this year will have a more relevant profile, due to the entry into the FIM Bajas Europe Championship, which will take the best international motorcycle and quad riders to dispute the victory with the best local teams in the tracks near Badajoz, west of Spain and near the border with Portugal.

The Royal Spanish Automobile Federation is working on a third event that could enter the calendar. In these difficult times, the last details are still being arranged for this third race. All the information about it will be revealed shortly.

Of course, the COVID-19 protocols are already being worked on so that all events can be held without any type of problem for public health, as is happening in other national motor racing competitions.
