TT title won in 2012.

“I am very pleased to be returning to cross-country rally integrated into an ambitious, very professional and extremely motivating project. After participating in Portalegre, where I enjoyed driving Hilux and we confirmed all its recognized potential, the opportunity arose to do this season with the Toyota from the Overdrive Racing team, which allows me to aspire to fight for victories and the 2020 championship. I am grateful to my sponsors and Jean-Marc Fortin for their commitment to making this challenge a reality and I am naturally very pleased to be able to announce my participation in the 2020 season along these lines, ”says Miguel Barbosa.

The Portugal Cross-Country Rallies Championship will consist of seven races. The first two of which will be raced in Alentejo in the following weeks, and will be based on Beja and Grândola respectively. Both are new races in the calendar. The new events will be followed by Baja do Pinhal, Baja Algarve, and Rally TT Wine Capital, all raced first half of the year.
