The first day at Greece Rally gave the riders the perfect setting for a great start. First to finish the stage was the American Howes Skyler with his KTM EXC 450 Rally with the Frenchman Duong Nguyen Khoa also with a KTM EXC 450 and 3’48” behind him and the Italian Matteo Cura closing 3rd place with a Husqvarna FE 501. As they were starting further down the starting list, they managed to gain time against top rider such as Svitko, Barbieri and Patrao
Today’s stage was the SSS 1 Bosdakas taking the riders up high into the mountain tops touching 2000 meters above sea level, in a small (20kms) but very “juicy” demanding special stage, neither hard riding, or navigation tricks. Hard setting for the first day but one not to be missed.

Class 5: Jan Michek (CZ)
Class 6: Marco Gandini (IT)
Veteran: Duong Nguyen Khoa
The women riders of Serres also showed their class today with the new comers Ekaterina Zhadanova (RU) finishing on top and Stephanie Rowe (GB) following closely in second, third was the local Polytimi Kyriakopoulou (GR).
Night at Serres Rally for Day 1 is also the ceremonial start which is held in the center of of Serres city. A massive crowd gathered and the fans got to see and talk to the riders up close.
