The action started last Friday with a 7.69 km super special stage in Várpalota, near Lake Balaton. With a conservative start, Margot took second place among the women, a position she would fight for throughout the weekend.
 
On Saturday, no less than four special stages were scheduled, the last one of the day being cancelled for organisational reasons. In the morning, two runs through an 82.39 km selective section between Stigibácsi and the town of Gyulafirátót awaited the entire caravan. It was a difficult start for Margot as the terrain was very technical, with very fine and slippery gravel tracks that forced her to change the bike's suspension settings during the midday service.
 
With the KTM now fine-tuned, the afternoon and Sunday stages were the kind of stages that Llobera enjoyed, with a fast but conservative pace, reaching the finish line without complications and taking second place in the women's category, a first-place finish that gives the Andorran the wings to continue to evolve.

"I return home very satisfied with this race, racing in a world championship is very special for me and on top of that I go home with a second place and with the confidence of having competed very well. It wasn't an easy event, I had to fight hard and in the end I got the result. The first special stages were really complicated for me, the bike was very nervous and I suffered a lot until we could adjust the suspension and the bike changed completely. It was a total success, and on Saturday afternoon I was able to ride with the confidence I needed.
 
The special stages were very nice, it was a bit annoying to always be behind the cars, but we overcame this and we tried to fight for the victory in a very complicated terrain, with very hard and slippery tracks.
 
The most important thing for me is to go back home with the confidence of having evolved a lot mentally, I can now race with much more calm and tranquility on a level with the best riders. The psychological improvement has been very important, and being able to enjoy the races without pressure is something basic that fills me with joy.
 
We will continue fighting for the FIM World Cup and combining it with my new role as co-driver with Mercè Martí, I have a very intense second half of the year and I will face it with all my energy, I'm really enjoying this season".
