Italian Baja 2020: Motorbikes will be back at the most important Italian Cross-Country race

The 27th edition of Italian Baja, scheduled for 18 to 21 of June will be marked by the return of the motorbikes. In the 2020 edition, the bikers will not be racing yet, as that is planned to take place only in 2021, but they will instead work as forerunners and test the track ahead of the cars, giving useful information to the organizers and marshals, as it happens in others races like Baja Portalegre.

4×4 Pordenone Off-Road Club, Italian Baja organizer, reached an agreement with FIM and FMI to reintroduce the motorbikes into the race, bringing back not only the participants but the public the follows the category.

2020 Italian Baja should have its HQ located in Pordenone once more, with the race track draw in the riverbanks of the rivers Tagliamento and Meduna in the region Friuli Venezia Giulia, and will be valid for the FIA World Cup Cross Country Bajas and local competitions.
