PanAfrica Rally 2019: Moroccan adventure ready to start

PanAfrica Rally 2019 will take place from 21 to 28 of September, in the surroundings of Merzouga and will have 6 stages.  The rally starts with a relatively short 90km stage on day 1, leaving the serious business for day 2 where the riders and drivers will then find the 1st long stage with 275km. Day 3 will have a similar distance to the previous day with 290 km. Day 4 will be the hardest of them all with a 445 km long stage that promises to be quite demanding.  On day 5 the stage will have 280km and on the final day the survivors will only have to ride for 75km on what can be considered more like a "decompression stage".  An important characteristic of this rally is the almost non-existent liaisons, with most of the stages starting and finishing at or near the bivouac.

In general, all 2 or 4 wheel vehicles defined by the FMS that meet the safety requirements specified below are admitted to the “RALLY PANAFRICA”.  All vehicles must be registered and have all the necessary and definitive documentation for their circulation.
The 2019 edition includes 2 categories for Motorbikes and Quads: Classes for the MOTO category will be “RALLY” – “ENDURO” Classes for the QUAD category will be “RALLY” – “ENDURO” No cylinder limit for the categories.  As for the cars, vehicles T1, T2, T3 according to FIA regulations are allowed to enter this race. Also are accepted cars TH (with expired homologation), Buggy (single or double seat), R (vehicles accepted only in regularity Selective Stages).  Finally, for SSV, UTV open, standard UTV-SxS vehicles with CE standards as homologated with seats, harness, fire extinguishers, standard tanks UTV FIA as described in FIA regulations and amendments, J283 technical rules. FIA homologation expired is accepted if less than 5 years or FIA relevant specs. UTV Solo, standard UTV-SxS vehicles with CE standards as homologated with seats, harness, fire extinguishers, standard tanks driven by one pilot with motorcycle or relevant navigation equipment.

The entry list for the race is quite good and let us predict some interesting fights for the top places.  The race is also becoming more international each year that passes, and for 2019 15 nationalities are represented.
