Rally Greece Offroad 2020: West Macedonia receives the 8th edition of the race from 28 to 31 of May

RALLY GREECE OFFROAD 2020 is the 8th edition of the event and will be run in West Macedonia on 28-31 May 2020. The event is governed by FIA and Greek Motorsport Federation (OMAE) regulations. This rally has a Baja type formation with a total length approximately 900 km from which almost 540 km are Special Stages closed to other traffic.  The race is open to vehicles from several categories, including from FIA: T1, T2, T3, and OMAE: SSV, TZ1 (TH relevant)

RALLY GREECE OFFROAD 2020 will take place from 28-31 Mau 2020, and it is a significant International Cross Country event that attracts Competitors from many countries. 

This race is governed by FIA and Greek ASN regulations. Sport part of the event consists of three (3) days of competition plus one (1) more day for technical and administrative checks as also competitors briefing, Welcome cocktail and Ceremony start. Special stages on gravel will be run in the Northwest part of Greece and specifically in territories of West Macedonia. The race center will be located in KASTORIA city.

PROGRAM SUMMARY
May 28, Thursday: Administrative checks, Scrutineering, Briefing, Race Starting Ceremony.
May 29, Friday: LEG1 with approximately 180km of Special Stages.
May 30, Saturday: LEG2 with almost 200km of Special Stages
May 31, Sunday: LEG3 with around 160km of Special Stages and Prize Ceremony will be early in the
afternoon.

Total Rally length is approximately 900km and Special Stages length is almost 540km.

H.Q. of the event will be operational in the city of KASTORIA from the 26th of May within a walk distance from Service Park Area which offers plenty of space and is located in the city center near to the magnificent lake.
