The fascinating scenery of Western Macedonia will host, from 4th to 6th June, the fourth round of the 2021 Italian Cross Country Rallies Championship with the Rally Greece Offroad.
Andrea Schiumarini, accompanied by the veteran Maurizio Dominella, will be on the starting line on board the Mitsubishi Pajero WRC+, always prepared by RTeam.
An interesting program that of the Rally Greece Offroad that has developed a path of about 500 kilometers of special stages.
Long stages, therefore, requiring well-balanced conduction to ensure maximum performance of the vehicle and the physical strength of the crew.
"This is my fifth presence at this rally," declares Schiumarini, "and it's exactly the kind of race I prefer. Long sections with changes of pace that require great concentration."
The terrain, which the driver from Forlì knows very well, is characterized, in fact, by fast tracks alternating with narrow roads that run in paths and mountain mule tracks, imposing a very careful race management and with the ability of fast pace changes.
"The repeated tests on Friday and Saturday", concludes Schiumarini, "will allow us to refine the notes of the Road Book, a moment where we will take advantage of the great experience of Maurizio Dominella, who has made 28 appearances in the Dakar. I'm happy to have him by my side because he's one of the protagonists of the Dakar who contributed to the growth in me of the passion for the desert."
In fact, Andrea Schiumarini continues to work to prepare the Pajero WRC + for the appointment in Saudi Arabia for the Dakar 2022, as he was able to confirm just at the event organized by Enduro Republic "Paris-Dakar 2022 - International Press Conference" in Grazzano Visconti, a weekend dedicated to fans and insiders that also saw the presentation of many of the projects and presences of the next edition.
