The Spanish Cross-Country Rally Championship begins its final stretch this weekend with the first of the four events to be held in the next two months, the Rally TT Guadalajara, a race which is in its seventh edition and which returns to the calendar after the break forced by the pandemic in 2020.

The event, organized by the Automóvil Club Alcarreño, will have more than seventy teams that will fight again for the victory in the different categories. Among those registered is the presence of the two leaders of the championship, Félix Macías -first classified in TT- and Víctor Verdú -leader of SSV-.

The actual second classified in the general classification, Javier Pita, the current champion, will surely fight for the victory again with Gael Queralt and Santiago Navarro, who are being very fast with their T4 and T3 respectively.

Federico Mogni, Edesio Caamaño or Luis Sainero will be present in Side by Side, where David Asensio and Themis López will be in the fight for the victory in this very close category. The Yamaha YXZ 1000R will be in Guadalajara and will do so with six registered teams that will continue looking to be the best in the Japanese trophy.

The Regularity Rally Cup continues with the growth it has been showing this season, and will have sixteen teams registered with Salvador Rubén Serrano, current leader, as one of the favorites.

The format chosen by the Automóvil Club Alcarreño will be of two days, starting on Friday morning, the 1st, with the delivery of documentation and technical verifications that will take place in the town of Cifuentes, headquarters of the test. The prologue will start at 18:00 hours local time and will have five and a half kilometers. At 19:50 the starting ceremony will begin in the Plaza Mayor of Cifuentes.

On Saturday, two 176-kilometer super special stages will be held, starting at 9:00 a.m. with SS1, and at 3:25 p.m. SS2 will start, ending the race with the trophy ceremony scheduled for 9:00 p.m.
