The 2022 Portuguese Championship is about to start.

Baja TT Montes Alentejanos marks "the beginning of hostilities"

It is already on the next weekend of 19th and 20th February in Beja, in the southern part of Portugal, that the drivers and riders of the Portuguese off-road championships for cars (FPAK), motorcycles, quads, and SSV (FMP) will start the fight for the conquest of their respective titles of 2022 National Champions.
The first race of the year will be the Baja TT Montes Alentejanos, organized by the CPKA and disputed in the Municipality of Beja and neighboring municipalities, with a total of 308,8 km against the clock.
The 1st Baja of the year will start on Friday the 18th, with the technical and administrative checks made in the city of Beja, which will also receive the starting ceremony early in the evening.
The real competition will only begin Saturday early in the morning with a short but intense 5.58 km prologue that will not allow for the teams to see if they have all the nuts and bolts of their vehicles well tightened but will also order them for the first real test of the season: SS1, with 151.61 km
On Sunday the competitors will race only one sector - SS2, which will be a repetition of the 151,61km long stage, raced on the previous day.
