Baja Hail 2020: Van Loon enjoys a real Dakar test

Erik van Loon and Sébastien Delaunay close the first Hail Baja with the ninth fastest time. It is a test with a lot of sand, bumps, and fast passages: a real Dakar test. Van Loon is satisfied with the first Baja and is looking forward to the next one, which will take place next week.

“This is a good warm-up for the Dakar in January,” says Van Loon. “It is unique that you are allowed to drive in the area where the Dakar is located so shortly before an event. We had to look a bit for the waypoints, the rally was not easy. Next week is the next Baja, I'm looking forward to it. ”

The second Hail Baja is on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The trials are on the other side of Hail.
