Coahuila 1000 2020: Seeking to reactivate tourism in Coahuila before Covid-19

 
As a measure to reactivate national tourism and the support of Gobierno del Estado de Coahuila, Haz Turismo en Coahuila, Municipality of Saltillo, Raceline and Electrolit, from the 26th to the 29th of August next, the Coahuila 1000 Desert Rally 2020 will take place. which will be used by a number of municipalities in the State under strict health measures.

This year,  the Secretary of Tourism and Development of Magic Pueblos de Coahuila, Azucena Ramos Ramos, highlights that this edition,  organized by the CANACO of Torreón will include the Sureste Region, Lagoon and Center of Coahuila.

The race will be crossing the municipalities of Saltillo, Ramos Arizpe, General Cepeda, Parras de la Fuente, Castaños, Francisco I. Madero, Matamoros and Torreón.

The event, which for a decade has brought together local and international pilots, hopes to repeat the total success of the previous year.

"The pilots were very impressed with the attention they gave them, including the presence of the helicopters, that offer security all over the place," said the governor of the region, Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís.

In addition to the constant pursuit for improved security, this year the organizers have also given themselves the task of holding a responsible event, in which action will be taken in response to the situation of the health contingency to ensure the integrity of all

The registrations will start the month of July on the www.coahuila1000.com.mx website and will only be carried out by this measure in view of the recent world situation by Covid-19.

All riders who have the expertise and skills to manage vehicles such as Motos Cross, ATV, UTV and cars can participate.

The registrants tend to receive a welcome kit, hydration and scenes, as well as a UTV lot and gasoline will be sold every 100 kilometers.
