Coahuila 1000 Desert Rally 2019:

The Cámaras de Comercio, Servicios y Turismo de Coahuila supported by Gobierno del Estado, and the mayors of the several municipalities of  Estado de Coahuila, will organize the 5th consecutive Coahuila 1000 Desert Rally in the upcoming 15, 16, 17 and 18 August 2019.

This interational race is registered in the Federación Mexicana de Automovilismo Deportivo, A.C. (FEMADAC) and associated with the Comisión Nacional de Pilotos Organizados de Ruta, A.C. (CNO)  and will offer a route with more than 1000 kilometers of off-road tracks to be race in two days across the Coahuila state in Mexico.

The Coahuila 1000 Desert Rally has as main objective the recreation, companionship and teamwork of the participants, beside the tourism promotion of Coahuila, that is by nature a perfect place for this type of events.   The race is intended to promote the territories of Saltillo, General Cepeda, Cuatro Ciénegas, Parras de la Fuente and Francisco I. Madero and for that reason some changes were introduced in this years event with the race start taking place in the state's capital and finishing at La Laguna.

The race that started as a small event with just a few kilometers rapidly grew and became into a rally starting at Torreón and finishing in Acuña.  The success of the event is even more impressive, as for this year more than 500 participants are expected coming from several parts of Mexico but also from the United States.

The race is open to motos and quads, ATV and UTV, Buggies and modified vehicles. The organizers also have plans to open the race to "Trophy Trucks" but their number is very low in Mexico and they will have to count with some North American participants.
