Atacama Rally 2019: 1200 kilometers in the driest desert of the planet

The 2019 Atacama Rally's participants will cover more than 1200 kilometers between dunes, valleys, mountains, dry rivers and coastal areas, taking to the maximum the adrenaline and the passion to challenge one of the most incredible rallies of the World Championship. 

This will be the third event of the FIM Cross-Country Rally World Championship and will take place in the world's driest desert from September 1-7, 2019.   Atacama Rally 2019 will also be valid for Cars and SxS for the Chilean championship and will be disputed according to the general rules established and approved by the Chilean Federation of Motorsport. 

The rally will feature 5 stages, starting with the Atacama-Atacama loop on SS1 with 270km.  SS2 will be another loop with start and finish in Atacama, but this time with 370km route that will also visit Vallenar.  SS3 will take the participants from Atacama to Diego de Almagro, in an another 370km demanding stage.  The 300km stage 4 will start in Bahia Inglesa and bring back the participants  to Atacama.  The final stage SS5 will look a bit like SS1 with the same start and finish points and same racing distance, but will have a completly different route
