Sertões Rally 2019: A record breaking edition

Everything is ready for Sertões Rally 2019, including the 4800km long route that features more than 2830 km of special stages across a huge terrain type variety, from rocks to sand, from forest roads to almost desertic sections.  Brazilian's most important cross-country rally will pass by 163 towns on his way from Campo Grande in Mato Grosso do Sul state up to Aquiraz in Ceará State on the north Brazilian Atlantic coast.  Along the way the rally will also pass several other states, including Mato Grosso, Goiás, Tocantins and Piaui.

Ready for this event are also the 187 participants that make the 2019 Sertões Rally entry list. This year's entry list features a strong line up of participants in all categories and breaks several records, making from the 2019 edition of the largest rally on the South American continent the most competitive up to this date.

In the entry list we can find 11 foreigners and 12 women. The participants from outside Brazil will come from Argentina, Uruguai, Paraguai, Portugal and USA.  Among the 12 women listed, three of them will be on the role of pilot: Sandra Dias (driver), Janaina de Souza and Moara Sacilotti as motorbike riders.  Only on the  SSV we can't find any women neither driving or co-driving.
